Lena Juárez is the founder and President of JEJ & Associates, a governmental relations firm with offices in Tallahassee and Orlando, Florida. Representing a diverse set of clients before state and local governments, she has delivered results since 1997. As a small business owner and consultant for over 10 years, Ms. Juarez works with businesses and governments to find solutions to their challenges or opportunities in the marketplace. She has actively managed and worked on local and statewide political campaigns. She previously served as staff to the former Florida Board of Regents and as Executive Director of a statewide organization promoting community service. Ms. Juarez has been appointed to numerous state-wide boards by current and former Senate Presidents and House Speakers. Some include the Florida Commission on the Status of Women, Florida Commission for Excellence in Health Care and the Great Floridian Ad Hoc Committee. She is a graduate of Leadership Tallahassee and Leadership Florida, programs of the local and state Chamber of Commerce. She also has served on the Board of Leadership Florida and continues to serve on its Council of Advisors. Ms. Juarez earned a BA from Newcomb College of Tulane University in New Orleans and a MPA from Florida State University.
